National Webinar was conducted on “Standards to protect Consumers in the light of Consumer Protection Act, 2019” Organised By Navjeevan Law College, Nashik In Association With Consumer Advocacy Group, Hyderabad on 08/04/2023. The programme was anchored by Asst. prof. Ulka Chauhan, Navjeevan Law College, Nashik. The welcome address was given by  Dr. Shahista Inamdar, Principal I/C Navjeevan Law College, Nashik. Then the Purpose of the webinar presented by Dr. P.V.V.S. Murthy, Former Member of District, Consumer Commission and Present Member of AP State Consumer Protection Council and continued by CAG introduction by Dr. G. Vinayagamoorty.

Session – I – Ms B. Sandhya, Scientific officer (Retd) BIS, Andhra Pradesh gave her guidance on topic – “Building Standards”, Ms. S. Ishwarya introduced the guest.

Session – II – Dr. Rama Dasu P, Managing Director, CICPL, Telangana gave guidance on topic “The role of BIS in standardization”, Ms. Devinamitra introduced the guest.

Session III – Dr. Sangeeta Taak ,  Asst. Professor, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law Punjab gave her guidance on topic  Product Liability in Consumer Protection Act, 2019” M. Lavanya introduced the guest.

 After that Question & Answer Session was continued by moderator of the National Webinar Dr. Shahista Inamdar and also Summary of National Webinar was presented by her.

At the end of the programme vote of thanks was given by Vasundhara Chaudhari, Assistant professor, Navjeevan Law College, Nashik and then programme was concluded. Maximum no of participants attended the programme all around the nation. The teaching and non teaching staff specially Mr. Makarand  Pande, Dr. Samir Chavan, Mrs Ulka Chauhan, Asst. prof. Vasundhara Chaudhari, Adv. Meenakshi jadhav, Adv. Vaishnavi Kokane, Asst. Prof. jeevan Wagh atteneded the national Webinar . Student representative Neha Budhbhati and Anugrah Narayan provided technical help for the successful webinar.
