a.Name of the Society :-
This Trust will be known as “Navjeevan Education Society, Nashik.
b. Address of the Society :-
The Registered office of the Society will be situated at Nahsik at
Navjeevan Campus, 4th Scheme Shivshakti Chowk, Cidco, Nashik.
Tal-Dist-Nashik, (Maharashtra) Pin code-422008.
c. Area of operation :-
The area of operation of the Society shall be Maharashtra State initially at Nashik District, but it may be extended to the other states of India and outside India may be required from time to time by the Trustee according to the requirements of expansion of activities of the Society.
d. The field of activity of the Society :-
The society shall carry on its activities in Educational, Cultural, Social and Economic (including agriculture, industry, trade and commerce etc.) Fields, New field, of activity may be accepted by the trustees from time to time.
e. Registration Details:
Navjeevan Education Society is registered under The Society Registration Act 1860 having registration No. MAH/879/Nasik Dt. 11th August 1983 and Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 having registration No. F-826 Nasik Dt. 26th of September 1983.
2. Aims & Objects of Society:
The aims and objects of this society shall be :
- To start, establish, run, take over or manage and maintain all educational and sports activities including schools colleges, Professional and Technical institution imparting, Pre-primary, Primary, Secondary, Higher Secondary, Graduate and Post Graduate Education in all branches of Arts, Science and commerce, Agriculture, Law Vocational and Study Training Programme Medicine, Pharmacy, Technology, Fine Arts, Crafts, Journalism, Politics Literary, Religion Culture, Media Journalism, Management, Educational Programme such as management study Programmes, Intercontinental Category, T.V. Multimedia, Journalism, Public and Social Relation Study Programme in India and outside India ….in the other Countries also necessary. To establish Medical Colleges (Unani Medicine, Homeopathy Ayurveda, Allopathic, Dental And all Branches of Medical Specialization and recognized system of Medicine) to establish Para- Medical department of Faculty and Courses for Physiotherapy chiropractic, Medical Laboratory Technology, occupational Therapy Prosthetics, and Orthotics speech Therapist Operation Theatre Technique, X-ray Technician, Optician, Edu. Technician and others for education and training and award Certificate or diploma thereof. To establish and maintain Hospitals, Clinics, Medical Centers dispensaries etc.
2. To make educational facilities
Available in the state of Maharashtra and other States to start education in all over India. To make all type of educational and sports facilities available in all over India and mainly in all districts of state of Maharashtra including Nashik. This area of operation can be extended to foreign countries if needed for Impart management training and study programme, also health improvement programme all over the world. For all persons belonging to all classes, creeds and communities irrespective of sex, by starting, conducting taking over and running Schools, colleges, other Institutions special courses or special curriculum deemed suitable for the purpose of the society.

b. Powers and Functions
- To prepare and publish Annual Report of the Society and to place the same before the General Body.
- To prepare annual accounts and audited statements of Accounts of the Society and to place the same before the General Body.
- To prepare annual statements of accounts and Audited Statements of accounts of the institutions of the Society.
- To consider and sanction with such modifications as it may deem fit the budgets for the institutions of the Society.
- To prepare and sanction the budget for the Society.
- To control the permanent fund and the property of the Society.
- To acquire by way of purchase, lease etc. and to hold property in order to enable the society to carry out its objects.
- To sell lease mortgage or otherwise dispose of the property of the society.
- To raise loans on specific resolutions with or without mortgage or debentures whenever necessary in the interest of the Society.
- To consider and act upon proposals regarding offers of donation, endowments and other gifts.
- To prepare schemes of expansion of the academic and the economic activities of the society and of its institutions.
- To supervise and control the education and finance in the institutions of the Society and to ensure proper maintenance of discipline and standard of education in the institutions.
- To make arrangement for the annual inspection of the institutions of the society and make necessary suggestions or to issue necessary directives.
- To regulate teaching and examinations in the institutions of this society.
- To appoint necessary staff in the office of the society and in any of its institutions and to regulate their service conditions.
- To promote transfer, demote continue or discontinue any of the employees of the Society or of its institutions.
- To appoint such committees sub-committees as may be necessary and to provide for and to fix procedure of their working. The Council may authorize such committees to dispose of such matters as may be specifically referred to them for disposal from time to time. Such disposal shall be reported to the Council.’
- To delegate, if necessary, some of its powers and functions to either committees or to Heads of Institutions or special officers appointed for the purpose.
- To enter into vary carry out or cancel contracts of various types on behalf of the society.
- To take such legal steps as may be necessary in the interest of the Society.
- To consider and pass rules and bylaws for the conduct of business of any of the authorities of the society.
- All or any matters relating to the society or its institutions not provided for in the rules and regulations shall be dealt with or decided by the Governing Council.
- To recommend additions, alterations, amendments to the rules and regulations to the General Body.
- To sanction loans and advances on such terms and conditions as the Governing Council may deem fit activities are likely to add to the income/resources of the society.
c. Meeting of the Governing Council
- The Governing Council shall meet for not less than six times in a year.
- Three clear days notice of meeting shall be given to each member of Governing Council by the Managing Trustee. However, in case of emergency than Chairman shall have the power to dispense with the required period of previous notice and call a special meeting of the Council. The Chairman can also decide an urgent matter by a circular meeting.
- Five members shall form a quorum for the meeting.
- In the absence of the Chairman, the members present shall elect a Chairman for the meeting.
- All questions shall be decided by majority of votes. The chairman shall have a casting vote in addition to his own vote in case of equality of votes.
