Five years course, After H.S.C. or Equivalent
PRACTICAL TRAINING
It is compulsory for all LL.B. III(3 Years Course) and B.S.L-V Year Students (5 Year Course) to undergo the Practical Training consisting of-
- Attendance at the court.
- Observance of the Court Proceedings.
- Visits to Advocate’s Chamber.
- Presentation of moot court etc.
Non-Compliance with any part of Practical Training will be treated as absence of the student in the student in the subject and No Marks will be allotted against such non-compliance.
- Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with 45% marks.
- Three Years Diploma Examination of Board of Technical Education (After 10th Std.) With 45% marks.
- 40% for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes students only.
To pass the Ist and IInd years of Examination (Five year Law course), a candidate must obtain
- 40% of the full marks in each paper.
- 40% of the total marks in the examination. To pass the IIIrd year of B.A. LLB and IVth and Vth year B.A. LLB LLB (Five-year Law Course) a candidate must obtain.
- 35% of the full marks in each paper and
- 50% of the total marks in the examination.
A.T.K.T. RULES
A candidate who obtains at the Ist, IInd , IIIrd year of B.A. LLB, or IVth year of LLB. (Five year B.A. LLB LLB Course)50% of the full marks in the number subjects given below out of the total number of papers prescribed for the respective academic year shall be allowed to keep terms respectively for next year; i.e. the IInd, IIIrd year of B.A. LLB and IV year of B.A. LLB LLB Examination i.e. ATKT for 2/3 of the total subjects.
- First year B.A. LLB examination – 4 subjects.
- Second year B.A. LLB examination – 4 subjects.
- Third year B.A. LLB examination – 5 subjects.
- Fourth year B.A. LLB LLB examination – 5 subjects.
Provided however that he shall not be declared to have passed the examination of such next year, i.e. IInd and IIIrd year of B.A. LLB and IVth year and Vth year of B.A. LLB LLB. Unless he has passed such such subjects and the remaining papers in the examination of such previous year according to the standard of passing laid down above.Such candidate shall not be eligible for a class prize or scholarship awarded at the examination.

As Per University Of Pune Circular No. 373/2004, Dted 16/10/2004, A Candidate Who Has Not Passed Any Particular Examination During The Validity Period Of Grant Of Term. (I.E. Six Years) Shall Not Be Eligible To Appear For That Particular Examination After The Validity Period Of Grant Of Term. (I.E. Six Years) Is Over.
INCENTIVE MARKS (Additional marks for extra-curricular activity)
Five additional marks may be granted to candidate appearing for University examination of any degree , diploma or certificate, as an incentive marks for his participation in any one or more of the following activities :
- NCC
- NSS
- National physical efficiency drive
- Adult education program of Puna University.
The additional marks shall be added :
- To any subject/s as the case may be in the examination if the student has failed in such subject/s and if such additional marks enable the student to get necessary passing marks
- To the total number of marks, secured by the candidate in the examination. Provided that the additional marks shall not be taken into consideration for the purpose of award of any prize, scholarship merit list or for such other similar purposes.
The additional marks shall be granted to the candidate only for that examination during the course of which the candidate has participated in the activities mentioned above.
NOTE
The candidate shall be eligible to get maximum five additional marks only once, for any of the activities mentioned above, if performed by him any year, and only for an examination of one course.
